Concrete + kitchen

exposed concrete

The three-metre long kitchen worktop and the counter measuring four metres in length are both made of concrete. They were intentionally chosen as a contrast to the otherwise light-coloured kitchen furnishings and the wooden substructure with its warm shade.

Countertops made of exposed concrete can be easily combined with conventional, fitted base untis. This is nicely illustrated by this charming, old-fashioned kitchen, where interplay with other tasteful elements of furniture creates an inviting ambience.

Countertops such as this one, which is made of exposed concrete, are the perfect choice for connoisseurs who appreciate high quality, sophisticated craftwork because concrete, as compared to naturally grown stone, offers a much larger range of possible surface structures and colourings. Any kitchen countertop is individually dyed, cast and finished in our workshop according to the customers wishes.

This kitchen countertop measures almost four meters in length, yet it can easily be supported by conventional furniture units. Its grey colour was chosen intentionally because it gives the kitchen interior a warm aura.

Concrete worktops made of terrazzo are both robust and easy-care. This makes terrazzo an ideal material for heady-duty working surfaces. In this worktop, the surface has a cast-in sink and surrounds the flush-mounted ceramic glass hob.
