Without our innovative, valuable tabletops, our contribution to stylish living would not be complete. Their finely polished, seamless surfaces interact with your living space. You have the choice between standard colours and dyes blended especially for you.
Tabletops
If you own or commission a table, and if you like its frame but not its top – just talk to us. Any wooden frame that is sufficiently stable can bear the weight of our tabletops. A wooden frame and a stone top can complement each other in a very innovative, attractive manner. If you would like to have the same kind – or a similar kind – of surface on your occasional furniture, we can always suggest ways to realize your ideas.
It is always a pity to see a well-made table with a stone top out of use just because the top seems to be irreparably damaged. This is a good opportunity to think about restoring the table. The frame can be provided with a new tabletop that perfectly goes with it. For aesthetical reasons, we do not necessarily recommend this course of action for any damaged table, but we would like to encourage you to at least consider the idea.
You can breathe new life into steel frames that once supported stone or glass tops. Depending on their design and stability, they may look great with a top made of terrazzo, exposed concrete, or Pearlnera®.
If you would like a tabletop that is self-bearing, no problem! When casting the top, we can integrate steel anchors with pre-fabricated threads where they will be needed. Thus, the tabletop can be safely screwed tight when being built in.
Many tables that for decades have lead unconspicous lives now have the chance to become transformed into real star. Their design is good, but for economic reasons these tables never could fully realize their potential in terms of material and creativity. By the way: if you just replace one important part of a table while preserving the table itself, with its very own history, this is also very much in line with ecological thinking. You save on natural resources.
Tabletops made of natural stone are are an excellent choice for dining tables or living-room tables. We are using them ourselves for these purposes, and even the desks at our office have stone tops. They are solid and of high quality, and their surfaces are not cold at all. Thus, they are ideal for all kinds of work.
Counters
All the qualities mentioned above also become manifest in various kinds of counters manufactured by material raum form. Over many years of use, our counters have always proved to be a good investment, and they can easily compete with comparable tops made of natural-stone materials. If you choose a counter made of terrazzo, you creatively shape the character of a bar, of a reception desk, or of a counter in your shop. Compared to the conventional uses of natural stone that often lack inspiration, our terrazzo counters make a real difference. You can also design the floor to match the counter. If you would like to use a terrazzo counter in your restaurant, bar, or diner, we can install the technical equipment you need, just like in our other worktops.
