Countertops made by material raum form are very convenient pieces of furniture. Moreover, they allow a full integration of modern kitchen technology. They open completely new possibilities when it comes to planning your kitchen. We are not exaggerating – we really transcend boundaries.
material raum form countertops are available in different materials: terrazzo, exposed concrete, and – as a world novelty – Pearlnera®.
All materials are composed entirely of minerals that are minerally bound. They do not contain any mixture combinations of synthetic materials. Their surfaces are diamond-polished, and ground until they show their typical stone-like shine. Thus finished, the stone countertops are available in colours that are individually blended for you. You can also individually choose the stone-chip ingredients used in our terrazzi. These stone chips determine the surface structure of each counterplate. All our counterplates are cast in one solid piece. This means that they are restorable: if their shine should fade a bit over the years, you can easily have them repolished, and their smooth lustre will return.
Our countertops are made-to-measure according to your wishes. Thus, you can not only select their colours and other components. You also have the unique option of integrating selected objects into their surfaces, such as fossils, minerals, or inlays made of metal.
We can integrate carving-board elements of any size. Made of wood or other materials, they are both practical and aesthetical. They can easily be removed for cleaning or replacement.
We can equip any of our cast, custom-made countertops with a matching stone sink or washbasin. But we can as well provide the top with an opening for an undercounter sink made of high-grade steel or ceramics. Drains that guide the water to a siphon can also be integrated into the profile of the countertop.
The surfaces of our countertops are heat-resistant. You can put hot cooking pots on them, and we can provide them with the openings needed to fit in ceramic hobs, whether they are raised or flush-fitted. When manufacturing a worktop, we also take into account other elements, such as waste bins with covers that are integrated into the top, and openings for fittings and ventilation.
Sockets in the wall, made either of the same material as the countertop or of another of our materials, are custom-made for your kitchen. But we can also install them outside – for example, if you have an electric barbecue grill on your porch.
If you are a lover of fancy design, we can fit in switches and consoles in a way that they form a integrated whole with the countertop. Just give us access to the construction details of the interfaces you need.
It is also possible to integrate lightings for displays into the countertops. We are in charge of the creative process, and we stand by your side as ergonomists and designers. All you have to do is think about your wishes.
